These are a take on traditional medical illustrations.

Using a base layer of red ink and then covering this with a wash of black Indian ink, these were painted in bleach. The result is never the same, and the intensity of the colours depends on the concentration and volume of bleach used. Each painting focuses on a part of the body in isolation, but the way these are presented creates relational inferences between them. Are they all part of the same body?
