Laser-cut Models
Using an industrial laser cutter I created these Perspex models, all assembled by hand.
The picture to the right shows 'Schrodinger's Venus', a life-size skeletal torso, composed of 550 individual Perspex shapes.
The model was displayed as if free standing, creating a space between life and death, commonly found in anatomical models that display all the signs of a dissection but with the animation of a living being.

Neon pink Perspex was used to create this gravid fetus. It is based on a 3D scan of an anatomical model used for educational purposes but a new aesthetic appeal is created through the colours and layers.

Red Perspex layered into a heart. Lifesize.
